Set back from the road behind a screen of evergreen trees, our quiet cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, an eat-in kitchen that comfortably seats 4 and a living room with Brown Jordan wicker furniture. Along the front runs a thirty foot deck with a Brown Jordan dining set and wicker rocker and settee. From here, you can walk several blocks into Northeast Harbor and find fresh bread and pastries at four excellent food shops and a full range of groceries at Pine Tree Market. The harbor, Gilpatrick's Cove, an exceptional library, and the Neighborhood House with yoga are all easy walks. The town trails connecting to Acadia National Park start on the other end of Main Street. If you study Google maps, you will see that our lot sits in the exact middle of the point that forms the heart of Northeast Harbor.
With new oak floors throughout and crisp white walls, the cottage is decorated with two dozen landscape paintings, the work of the owner. Two of the bedrooms have double beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses. The third has two custom oversized twin beds.
The wifi is strong enough to stream movies, and we have a wide screen TV and projector and screen, both rigged with an HDMI cable for your laptop. We also have a wide range of board games, puzzles, and books, with a good selection of children's books. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of gear, an oven, stove-top, griddle, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer.
