Our vacation home, built in 2005, is located on the edge of the Sierra Tejeda Nature Reserve at an elevation of 750 meters. The house is set in a vineyard and surrounded by almond trees. You’ll enjoy a unique view of the mountains, the white villages, and the sea. Absolute peace and nature guarantee a relaxing vacation. There are many hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The sea is about 20 km away. The cities of Málaga, Seville, Granada, Ronda, and Córdoba are just a few hours away. <br><br>Our house is tastefully decorated throughout. It features a large living room with a fireplace and piano, as well as a new, fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired.<br>In 2012, we enclosed the large terrace with glass and added a fireplace—perfect for the colder months—and in the summer, the doors can be opened completely.<br> The house, set on approximately 3,500 square meters of land with about 200 square meters of lawn/flat garden and a private pool (approximately 6 x 4 m), is located in a very quiet area. From the hammock, you can enjoy the afternoon light on the peaks of the Sierra mountains.<br><br><br>Hiking: Las Manianitas is an ideal starting point for hikes in the nearby Sierra Tejeda, Almijara, and Alhama mountain ranges. We recommend the “Andalusien-Süd” hiking guide published by Rother-Verlag, Munich. It describes several routes starting from Competa or Canillas de Albaida. However, please exercise caution: rather than relying on the walking times listed in this guide, it’s best to double the specified times—that way, you’ll be on the safe side.
